What do you get when a British luxury car brand and an F1 team join forces? Well, as it turns out, you get a hypercar for the road. Fortunately, Aston Martin and Red Bull did just that, and they built the Aston Martin Valkyrie. What they created is a road car the like of which has never been seen before. They’re not even calling it a hypercar, no, they’re calling it the ‘ultimate hypercar’.

Behind the scenes, the car is named the AM-RB 001. It has a 6.5L naturally-aspirated V-12 engine and the car will have a whopping 1130 break horse power (yes, that’s more than eleven hundred!). With a weight of approximately 1,030 kg, the Valkyrie surpasses the intended 1:1 power-to-weight ratio.

Conclusion; it’s a rocket ship.

According to Aston Martin, the car we see today is roughly 95% of what the completed production vehicle will be, so that’s good. Still, don’t expect to see one in traffic anytime soon, because, yes, the car is almost finished, but also yes, the price tag is set on approximately €3 million. Oh, and it has sold out in pre-orders.

For now, enjoy the video above guys. We also added the Aston Martin – Red Bull presentation video below.
