Local news station AT5 reports an incident that occurred in the Admiraal de Ruijterweg, Amsterdam:

“When officers were checking on a report in a residence, a flower pot was thrown at the roof of their car. After that, multiple perpetrators torched the back end of the police vehicle.

The car was burnt out completely. The fire brigade put out te flames. No one has yet been detained. The forensic services have made a forensic inquiry.”

AT5 furthermore reports that the street is notorious for ‘incidents’ with ‘youths’:

“The police frequently runs into trouble at the Admiraal de Ruijterweg. During a police raid, officers were verbally abused, a listening post was destroyed and a motorcycle policeman was kicked down during a chase.”

Oh well.
