In the night from Wednesday to Thursday 7 September in the Dutch city of Wageningen, four men attempt to rob jewellery store Royals. Local newspaper De Gelderlander reports that:

“The car that was used for the ramming heist was towed around 09:00. The four suspects used the car to ram the store and escaped on two mopeds. Police officers who happened to pass by the neighbourhood on their way back to the police station sprung into action immediately.

One of the suspects fell and was arrested. The second one was also hit by a police car, and was also arrested after he fell. A search for the two remaining suspects was started, assisted by a police helicopter. Whether anything was actually looted has not yet been announced.”
