Local Amsterdam news station AT5 reports that on 22 June a Police K9 patrol vehicle was set on fire following a shooting in the Merlijnstraat, very close to the Admiraal de Ruijterweg where a police vehicle went up in flames only last week.

The Amsterdam police tweeted:

“#Merlijnstraat: K9 van set on fire. Luckily no people or dogs in the car, no one injured. The fire could be put out quickly, but the perpetrators fled the scene in haste. Do you have any info on who did this? Call us!”
