It was the year 2015 when Disney successfully revamped the Star Wars franchise. The Force Awakens trailers made people cry, the hype was almost tangible and the movie pushed all our right nostalgia buttons. Of course, we had our doubts with Disney planning to launch a movie every year, but hey, it’s was Star Wars they’re talking about.

Now fast forward to 2018, and this is where we stand; Force Awakens does not stand the test of time, Rogue One was boring from the get-go and The Last Jedi belittled the Star Wars mythos. But even worse; Chewie, Han, Luke, Leia, and even newcomers Rey and Finn, just aren’t mystic and special anymore.

And the new Solo trailer for the new Han Solo origin movie confirms only prolongs this last feeling. Yes, we have the Falcon, we see a young Solo and Lando, and of course, we have Chewie there, but the whole excitement of the universe is just a bit gone.

Still, check out the trailer and see for yourself guys. The flick is out May 25th, and yes we’ll probably buy tickets anyway because we’re mere slaves to the system.
