Damn. The new Lamborghini Huracán Performante beat the Nürburgring record by 5 (!) seconds
Again, we are spending some time with Lamborghini, and for a good reason. The company produced a special edition of their Huracán series, the Huracán Performante. ‘Huracán’ is Spanish for ‘hurricane’, and that is exactly what this monster sounds and behaves like.
It has a 5.2 Little V10 which produces 640 HP (470 kW) at 8.000 rpm, but if numbers ‘aren’t your thing’, think of this; the car completed a lap at the (in)famous Nürburgring in 00:06:52:01, setting a new record for best lap and becoming the fastest standard production car ever, beating the ‘unbeatable’ Porsche 918 with an astonishing 5 seconds (!).
Unfortunately for most, the machine costs €321.384,00, but luckily for all, the guys from Ignition made a spectacular video demonstrating its fierce power and agility. Enjoy lads, and as always, volume way up!
