The Lamborghini Countach was the model that, together with the Diablo, defined Lamborghini as the ultimate badass supercar manufacturer. It had a mid-engine, V12 and was in production between 1974 to 1990.

One special version was named to honour the company’s twenty-fifth anniversary, in 1988, and the boys from Drive decided to celebrate the Countach’s 25th-anniversary model with an amazing video, studying the fantastically bizarre design, why it was built and by whom. Little known fact about the Countach, that iconic rear wing was purely cosmetic, but some customers loved it, so they added it on. Employees installed the rear wing, using an electric hand drill, in the factory parking lot. The job took about 10 minutes.

Tip: wait until the 1:58-minute mark into the video and listen to that glorious engine. The sound of this car is simply stunning. Volume up lads. Oh, and if you want one in your collection, bring the sum of €680.000 to the table (note: spoiler not included).
