At 23:45 on July 10, Police were called to two cars set on fire in the Bredäng suburb of Stockholm, Sweden. According to Carina Andersson, the duty officer for the Stockholm police region, when the police arrived at the fires:
“There were quite a few young people there who threw stones. But no police officer was hit and no one was injured.“
Police returned with more personnel and calmed the situation down. No suspects have been arrested, and the police left the place at 01:00. A notice was written for vandalism of the cars damaged by fire.
“Nothing has been prepared on the stoning yet, but I imagine that it will be reported as an attempt of assaulting a police officer.“
